Started on the laundry floor, and still there.
Studio AT-9 Indigo was founded in Egypt in 2016 on a simple observation: the decisions that shape a pair of jeans are spread across so many hands that nobody measures them together.
We took the opposite approach. One team follows one style from fabric to finish, records what each stage consumes, and hands the mill a recipe it can run without us.
Today that practice is 24 engineers, chemists and laundry technicians, serving 19 mills across 6 countries and developing more than 140 washes a year from pilot to bulk.
We start at the fabric and stop at the finished pair. Everything between is a decision about water, energy and time — so we write it down and measure it.
